This evening is just the beginning; a prologue to a tale of local creatives coming together to bring the unwelcome and unspeakable to the stage. You don’t want to miss the induction.
WHY A FUNDRAISER?
A core part of Viscera’s mission is to put on high-quality, full-scale, dynamic shows with fairly compensated performers and contributors. This launch fundraiser is a chance for friends, family, fans and collaborators who believe in this idea to support, in whatever big or small ways, and help get Viscera off the ground and onto the stage.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
7pm: Doors open
8:30-10pm: Entertainment
10pm-late: DJ & Dancing
Take advantage of the Morrissey’s full dinner and drink menu featuring specialty bites + cocktails crafted just for Induction. Enter to win prizes or bid on silent auction items to support. And, of course, be ready to be terrified and titillated as the Viscera dancers fill the room with movement and mayhem throughout the evening.
SUGGESTED DRESS CODE:
What to wear to a twisted and time-defying tavern? Go full out horror if you like… all manner of monstrosities, mutants and miscreants are welcome here. Or simply dress for a dark celebration (with a hint of gothic, steampunk, leather or lace if you wish). We know it’s Halloweekend, but we ask that you please avoid any starkly off-theme costumes… big bird or barbie may not feel at home.

Which ticket type should I choose?
Only ‘VIP’ and ‘Assigned Seat’ ticket holders will be guaranteed a table. GA ticket holders may be able to claim an available seat/table - if none are open, it will be standing room only. For this reason, we recommend an assigned seat ticket if you plan to order dinner at the event. Ticket types are based on view of the entertainment and overall experience/atmosphere. Please note that lower ticket tiers may have more limited visibility of the performances during some moments, however, dancers will use the space to ensure everyone is able to enjoy the show!
Can I be seated with my friends?
Specific seats will be assigned to your party within the seating tier purchased. Please buy together to be seated together! If you're party is larger than 4 people, we will do our best to seat you at one of our larger tables, otherwise, you will be sat at neighbouring tables. You will not be seated at a table with strangers; with the possible exception of our large VIP banquet tables, but they are very spacious (and arguably the best seats in the house) - if you purchase VIP and prefer your own table, please email us and we will do our best to accommodate. If there are ticket holders who have purchased separately that you would like to be seated near, please email us at viscerapresents@gmail.com and we will try to seat you together.
Will the show be interactive?
This event is an immersive experience. Performers will move throughout the room and may be performing near you or directly to you. There will be little to no physical contact with guests. Guests in the VIP seats will have the most up close and personal experience (we recommend choosing a different tier if you prefer to watch from a further distance). If at any point you would like a performer not to come closer or touch you, you can simply make an ‘X” shape with your hands to let them know.
Are there minimum age or ID requirements to enter the event?
This event is 19+. Any ticket holder unable to present valid identification indicating that they are at least 19 years of age will not be admitted to this event, and will not be eligible for a refund. LGBTQIA2+ and all identities are welcome.
What can/can’t I bring into the event?
Personal use of cellphones and cameras is allowed but please refrain from using flash. Remain respectful of the personal space and safety of other audience members and performers at all times. No outside food or beverages are permitted.

What is the refund policy?
As this is a small event, we are not offering refunds. We will honour refunds requested via email within 48 hours of purchase. If you need to transfer your ticket to someone else, please email us at viscerapresents@gmail.com and we will be happy to make that change.
Do I have to bring a printed ticket to the event?
All ticket holders must present valid ID matching the name used to book your tickets. If you need to change the name your tickets are held under, please email us at viscerapresents@gmail.com.
Is this venue inclusive and accessible?
The Morrissey washrooms are gender neutral and may be used by any person regardless of gender identity or expression. The venue is ground level and wheelchair accessible - please email us if you need any specific accommodations.

Strobe and/or LED lighting may be used during this performance.
