Friday the 13th - Horror Heels Pop-Up Class

$40.00

OCTOBER 13, 2023
8-10pm

at Glow Studios Vancouver
1026 Davie Street, Unit 400, Buzz 200

$40

Celebrate the freakiest of Fridays and get into the Halloween spirit with Viscera’s first ever pop-up class. Join our own Nikki Viscera for two hours of learning, exploration, and play as you dive into a darker side of dance and unleash the most unnerving, unhinged and untamed movement you can muster. You’ll learn some horror heels basics, get tips for delivering a truly petrifying performance and put it all together with some creaturely choreography. In honour of our sinister spectacular this halloween, this pop up will be set in the realm of a twisted carnival. Where mania meets madness, the spectators and spectacles become indistinguishable from one another.

This class is OPEN LEVEL, but recommended for folks with some dance experience, comfortability learning choreo and ability to manage their own level of participation and modify, if needed, to ensure safety.

———

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing you can move freely in (you are welcome to dress sexy, scary, comfy or whatever you like!) and dance-appropriate heels (if choosing not to wear heels, runners are recommended). Bring a water bottle!. Please feel free to reach out via email at viscerapresents@gmail.com if you have any other questions about attire or what to bring.

THE STUDIO: Buzz #200 to be let into the building, and then take the stairs up to the top floor to access the studio (we apologize this is not an accessible venue).
